Carlos Santana

As a child Santana learned to play the violin at the age of 8 and learned to play the guitar at 12.

As a teenager Carlos played in many bands In Mexico making minimum wage.

In 1966 Carlos Santana formed his first legit band.

This was the date of his first album named "Santana"

He made a very memorable performance at Woodstock

"Waiting" was Carlos Santanas First big song

He released some of the most popular albums he has ever made "Abraxas, Lotus and Amigos".

This is the time period when his career was failing and he was not near as popular as he once was.

In 1998 He was inducted to the hall of fame then shortly after made his famous album "Supernatural".

He came back with a huge album "Supernatural" Which hit big very quickly.
