A few days before the circus rolls into each town we will be advertising in the local, most frequently read newspaper. For London it will be in the London Evening Standard. We felt the need to rethink where we were placing the advert, so instead of Heat and GQ we felt that the local papers were more connected with our target audience, as they enjoyed the comforting and friendly feeling that a local paper and a Fruit and Nut gives them.

It was agreed that we would move forward with a Cadbury’s sponsorship of Dynamo’s Magician Impossible. This allowed us to lock in a strong 360 campaign as we had already signed up Dynamo for the PR activities. The sponsorship agreement will include a premier of the advert running for 1 minute 10 seconds on the first ad break of Dynamo’s show which airs at 8.30pm on a Thursday it will then be repeated before the show returns in each consecutive break for the full season of the show which runs for 116 hours. After the initial premier the show is repeated at around 1.15pm on E4 and 4OD the advert will be shown at the start and end of these shows which is an additional 232 showings this also allows us to use reach various age milestones in our key demographic without spending much more money.

Inspired by new age Grueilla advertising our aim is of course to be everywhere during the campaign and reach our consumers as much as possible, that is why we are using a new method of transport advertising. We plan to take traditional floor stickers in the same shape and size of our bar and have them stuck to the handle of escalators in train and tube stations. That way as your coming in or out resting your hand on a bar of Fruit and Nut. We hope this will make people curious about why they are there and make them think about the bar as a brand.

To keep the promotions running in store and to keep it consistent throughout the campaign, in all major supermarkets we will have our promotional ‘Fruit and Nut’ concessions. These will be cardboard cut outs of Circus stalls with a Ringleader attached to it. The part of the stall that would be used to hold parts for whatever game the stall is for will be where the Fruit and Nut bars are laid out. These concessions will be placed wherever the biggest visual opportunity in the store is for maximum attention.

Dynamo will appear to knock on the cinema screen commanding the attention of the audience. He will then make a short announcement to the crowd about the 'Fruit and Nutty' Circus.
