Creation of Run Book to sustain GAFE Deployment and 1:1 Gold Standards at the School Level
To compile work to date and compile content for Run Book
Writing of agreed upon content and generation of draft/pilot Run Book
Development of curriculum to be piloted with Complex TCs and Charter School 1:1 TCs
Day 1 - GAFE Deployment. Security & Maintenance
Day 2 - 1:1 Gold Standards
TCs would be responsible for deploying Google App to their schools as well as completing the Google Apps Deployment Specialist Certification examinations. Portfolio would be due on this day
Development of 4 core modules and coordinating with schools to determine delivery dates and times.
Will be part of regular DOE TC Course.
Only Farrington complex teachers will begin this time. The other 60 PDE3 course teachers will begin during 2nd semester.
Run Book will be piloted by school-based TC. Quarterly Hangouts will review components of Run Book and updates and revisions will occur throughout the pilot.
All four modules will be delivered to full faculty over the first semester.
Curriculum designed and delivered by facilitators will be during first semester with the second semester becoming teacher led.
8 week immersion for CAST and 1:1 select team.
Charter School TCs will be a part of the DOE two day intensive. They will receive additional Chromebook training in addition.
Revisit existing curriculum modules in preparation for Fall Series.
One workshop will be held every other weekend for twenty weeks. Explore possible funding for Spring series from Google.
Develop a list of agreed upon attributes for a 21st Century Educator.
Develop modules consistent with Educator Expectations and pilot them in designated classes.
As PD portions are completed, the community will bring in participants to engage with the community.
