After being woken up in the night, Scrooge meets the ghost of Christmas past. Frightened at first, Scrooge tries to shut his bedframe curtains and act as if it was all a dream. The ghost insures him its real and takes him somewhere very special.

The Ghost of Christmas Past takes Ebenezer al throughout his past Christmas's. One main memory was when Ebenezer's girlfriend, Belle, had broken up with him for being too in love with money. Scrooge begs the ghost to take him away. Shortly after Scrooge is back in bed

While Scrooge is going through his present Christmas, he sees family members at a party. When Scrooge hears his name among the crowd, his attention is turned immediately towards it. Although, it's not anything good. His family talks about how he does nothing with his money, only storing it for himself and it does nothing for him.

Scrooge is found back in his bed, but this time the ghost is much scarier. The Ghost of Christmas Future is like a phantom and shakes Scrooge a little bit until he is ready to see what is in store.

Scrooge starts by the Phantom showing him 'Tiny Tim'. Tiny Tim was very sick, and he ends up passing away because of people's selfishness. Then The Phantom shows him a churchyard, confused at first, Scrooge asks him to see the who lay upon that bed. Scrooge sees it is him on the gravestone and weeps.

He is taken back to his room and all the ghosts are done. After seeing his future, Scrooge knew he had to make a change. He decides for himself to be positive, and generous.

Scrooge finally changes himself for the better. He wakes up very excited for Christmas for once in many years. He saves Tiny Tim by helping them afford a cure. He opens his window and gives children shilling for Christmas ham. He becomes close with his family and Tiny Tim.
