1792 BC - 1750 BC

Hammurabi was the sixth king of Babylon. His reign seized when he died in 1750 BC.

Battle of Halule

691 BC

This battle was between the Assyrian empire and the rebelling forces of the Babylonians, Chaldeans, and Aramaic tribes. Both sides claimed to have won the battle.

Battle of Carchemish

605 BC

The battle of Carchemish was between Egypt and allied Assyria against Babylonia. Necho II was the king of Egypt during this battle and Nebuchadnezzar II was the king of Babylonia.

Tower of Babel

2000 BC - 539 BC

The Babylonians were building the Tower of Babel to use as a gateway to heaven, which made God angry. God showed his hand of judgment when he confused their languages and scattered them about.

God's hand in the Battle of Carchemish

605 BC

The battle of Carchemish took place between the alliances of Egypt and Assyria against the army of Babylonia. The battle took place because first Babylonia took the Assyrian capital of Nineveh, then their capital of Harran when they moved it to Carchemish. God showed his hand during this event when he let the Babylonians defeat the Assyrians who were allied with the Egyptians.
