Summary: On November 10, 1860 South Carolina had a meeting on whether they should succeed or not. On December 20, 1860 it was declared the South Carolina had succeeded. After that many more slave states had seceded.
North Perspective: The North was not happy because they wanted the Us to be together rather than be seperated. After, The secession of South Carolina, a lot more southern states seceded from the union to the CSA.
South Perspective: The South loved and supported the secession. One of the main reasons the south supported the secession was because it was preserving the institution of slavery. The south found the north as a threat to slavery and the southern economy depended on slavery.
