George Washington is born in Tidewater, Virginia. Father was a tobacco planter who died when Washington was just 11 years old. Due to his father dying Washington had little formal education, seven to eight years with a private tutor. At age 16 Washington becomes a surveyor's apprentice.

Washington retires at the age of 27. Washington then marries Martha Dandridge Custis a widower with 2 children.
