After Colombus had found America, he had started making connections to the natives in America and traded supplies with them. there was a lot of globalization from there on but it started mainly between the Americas and Europe. America gave Food, Tobaco, Spices, Coffee and more. Europe had given Animals, Diseases, Religion, Slaves and more. the trade was heavily unbalanced, but both sides profited in someway nevertheless.

The Era of Rulers/Era of Absolutism was a time where Europe was controlled by monarchs with total control. this gave power strictly to the one who had led the country at the time. whether the monarch was a dictator or not still fell under this category. there was no authority or power to prevent this so the rulers were able to keep their grip on their power for an elongated amount of time.

During this time, some people who followed the church believed that the church was corrupt. This belief caused there to be a split between those who trusted the church and those who didn't. those who didn't trust the church were called the Protestants.

During this era, people had started questioning what had been set in stone by the church and started trying to use logic such as math, science and other secular intellectual ideas. the church hated this and tried to shut down the Revolution, but failed when more and more people started getting curious and wanted to see what the world and universe are really like.
