Barely any women are working the offices and the only way to write things is by hand and they would have to use a telegraph to pass on important information.
1930 - 1939

In 1930, workers were put together in an open environment where managers and bosses could observe them from private offices. As if on a conveyor belt, tasks were split up into small repetitive acts and training and retraining staff in cases of structural unemployment was rare.
1940 - 1949

In the 1940s, the Great Depression and WWII were going on so they needed everyone working on something, even the women, so they had men fighting in the war and had the women figure out business work and how to fight the war. They let Africa-American women with degrees work with the technology if they were low on workers.
1950 - 1959

The desks in 1950 were heavy metal desks known as Tanker desks, they were durable and fireproof, most had 6 drawers on each side. Barely any women worked.
1960 - 1969

In the 1960s, the office was all male-dominated environment. Most workers had the same nine-to-five schedule and worked at desk stations with similar layouts and designs.
