After the British won the 7 year long war after the French and Indian war the British got a great deal of land in North America this was issued as the royal Proclamation act. It was at this time where a treaty is made "The treaty of Paris" which ended the 7 year long war of the French and Indian war

The sugar act was an act that attempted to curb the smuggling like sugar, wine and molasses. The purpose of the act was for three reasons,
1st it was to protect British goods with the introduction of a new trade
2nd to pay off for the French and Indian war since it took a giant toll on the British and Americans

The Boston Massacre was an incident known to the British as the incident in King's street. For what happened on king street on the Boston massacre was when an angry mob were harassing British troops by throwing snow ball, rock and stones and the snowballs had rocks in them and accidentally opened fire on the angry mob accidentally killing 5 men including an African American.

The Boston tea party was a political protest that lead a lot of angry colonists dressed as Indians to throw a lot of 382 boxes of tea into the Boston harbor and this is due to the British putting taxation without representation.

In an effort to restore authority in the colonies the British made the Coercive Act also know as the Intolerable act. The Intolerable Act is a series of 5 laws. The first four acts were passed as reprisal after the tea act in 1774.

The First Continental Congress was the voices of all 13 colonies coming together to talk about the incidents and try to send the king apology letters to try and get them to not get everyone involved. All though later they help the revolution and became part of the first 13 states of the United States of America.
