This act banned American Colonies from using paper money as legal tender. the Currency Act ensured that merchants would no longer be pain in money printed in the colonies, boosting their profits and British Wealth. This prohibiting American Colonies from using the current currency in the Americas. Not many people are happy about this, and it is the start of the doubt which leads to the revolution.

This act lowered the tax rate on sugar and molasses because the 6 pence per gallon price made trade unprofitable. The new rate from this act was 1.5 pence per gallon. This was the beginning of the trade politics which caused issues for the American Colonies.

This act required colonial governments to provide barracks and food for British troops. This was an issue because it was requiring the Colonies and their governments to pay for British troops, which is an obvious issue because the colonies' money was going toward the British not the Americas.

The Stamp Act was meant to cover part of the cost of keeping British Troops in America. Ben Franklin was opposed to this idea and presented a solution of American representation in Parliament. The British politicians rejected the idea and claimed it too radical. This was an issue for the Americas because the colonies were getting taxed without representation. "Taxation without representation" was one of the main reasons the revolution happened.

This act was devised by Townshend to create a board of customs commissioners in Boston and vice-admiralty courts in Halifax, Boston, Philadelphia, and Charleston. Townshend's intention was to undermine American political institutions. The colonies had a problem with this because was this undermining their political system, which would upset any set of colonies.

This was a new tax legislation; most of it went to pay for the salaries of royal governors, judges, and other imperial officials. Through the act Townshend hoped better enforce the laws carry out the king's instruction. The colonies had an issue with this because now the tax was on more things so that the people in power could get paid more. That wasn't fair for the rest of the population, and the colonies objected to this act.
