What is It? - The act that reduced the rate of tax on molasses from six pence to three pence per gallon and also listed more foreign goods to be taxed.
How did it lead to the Revolution? - The forced taxes caused a immediate decline in sales of the colonies goods. This disrupted the economy of the colonists and caused them to become frustrated and angry.

What was it?- reaffirmed Parliaments "full power and authority to make laws and statutes...to bind the colonies and people of America...in all cases whatsoever." By swiftly ending the Stamp Act crisis, he hoped it would be forgotten just as quickly.
How did it lead to the revolution?- It lead to the revolution by making parliament able to make laws for the colonists to follow. This would most likely lead to less freedom which would anger the colonists.

What was it?-An act that imposed the duties on colonial imports of paper, paint, glass, and tea that were expected to raise about $40,000 a year.
How did it lead to the revolution?- it resurrected the colonists hostile behavior that was also developed during the stamp act. The colonists began to riot against the British Empire.

What was it?- A group of colonists attacked a British Sentinel which caused a street fight between the colonists and a group of British Red Coats.
How did it lead to the Revolution?- The Colonists ordered Britain to take their troops out of America which led to a trial where the two British soldiers were found guilty of manslaughter.

What was it?- Colonists burned the British vessel known as Gaspee which caused the British to threaten to seize the colonists responsible for the burning of their vessel.
How did it lead to the revolution?- The British became more and more violent and the threats from the British after the colonists burned their ship made them even more angry.

What was it?- An act that boosted The East India Company which was struggling financially and was burdened with 18 million pounds of unsold tea.
How did it lead to the revolution?- This act caused the colonists to think the British were trying to make up for putting the Townshend duties upon them. The refused the tea and would not let the ships unload on their docks.

What was it?- Angry colonists raided British ships that were carrying tea. The colonists dumped 342 chests of tea into the sea without being seen by the British.
How did it lead to the Revolution?- This event gave the colonists more confidence to stand up to the British and gave Britain a sign that the colonists were serious about what they were rioting about.

What was it?- Acts used to force Massachusetts to pay for the tea and to submit to imperial authority.
How did it lead to the revolution?- Patriots claimed the Acts to be intolerable. All twelve colonies sent a representative to a meeting, called the continental congress, among the colonies where they debated on whether to fight for freedom or make a compromise. They decided to stop all trade with Britain and fight against parliament.

What was it?- Dunmore organized a local militia in Pittsburgh. He then used this militia to defy his royal instructions and the House of Burgesses and start a war with the Shawnees. He won the war and claimed Kentucky.
How did it lead to the revolution?- Years of neglect left colonists scared and desperate for a leader. This war gave them independence to lead themselves and want for more freedom. This lead to the American revolution war.
