The estate General was a group formed by King Louis the XVI to figure out a plan to solve the governments financial problems.

A Counter Revolution was anyone who was completely against the revolution.

Creation of National Assembly

June 17 1789 - July 9, 1789


The National Assembly was a transitional body between the Estates-General and the National Constituent Assembly.
This act does agree with the Declaration of Rights of Man and the Citizen because both of these origination were created to help the people and were not hurting them in any way.

Tennis Court Oath

June 20 1789


The Tennis Court Oath was an event that took place during the first days of the French Revolution that was the signing of the third estate saying they would kill the king.

Storming Bastille

The Third Estate attacked the Bastille to steal all of the gun power within the building

Peasents began to rebel causing a great terror among the people which became known as the "Great Fear"

The reason the National convention was created was so the official party candidates were announced to the public by both parties.

The work of the Convention effected almost all of the branches in public affairs. This assembly saved France from a civil war and invasion, that it founded the system of public education.

Louis XVI was killed by the blade.
