Joseph Howe was one of the famous politician of the mid-1800s.
He was a Reformer from Nova Scotia.He was elected in 1836, campaigning on a platform of support for responsible government. He published a newspaper called “Novascotian” and he believed in “Freedom of speech."

The Rebellions in Lower Canada started in 1837, they started rebellions when Government arrsted people who might start rebellions, rebellions stopped,but rebels defeated.They tried second rebellion in 1838 but this again broke out by Government.The Rebellions in Upper Canada started when they heard that British soldiers were busy with the Rebellions in Lower Canada.
