A nobleman and his 2 friends mocked D'Artagnan's horse. D'Artagnan was going to fight the nobleman, but the nobleman's friends attacked D'Artagnan first. In the fight he loses his introduction letter.

D'Artagnan sets off for Paris with 15 gold coins, a sword and a introduction letter to Monseiur De Treveille.
D'Artagnan meets the king of the musketeers.

D'Artagnan got to the king of the musketeers and told him he lost his letter of introduction, but he could still become a cadet.
The three musketeers and D'Artagnan are good friends from the beginning.

Madame Bonacieux is saved by D'Artagnan.

Madame Bonacieux was in the first floor in D'Artagnan's hotel, tied up being questioned. D'Artagnan went down and saved her.
D'Artagnan rides to get the necklace back for the Queen.

Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and D'Artagnan travel to get the necklace back to Queen Anne, but only D'Artagnan made it.The Duke of Buckingham and D'Artagnan try to get two duplicate diamond studs made, and they do.
The Queen get the diamond studs just in time.

D'Artagnan got the 12 diamond studs to the Queen just in time. The Cardinal was annoyed because he failed to do his job to embarrass the Queen. He was fooled and stopped by D'Artagnan.
D'Artagnan is falling into a trap.

Milady de Winter and the Cardinal both plotted revenge on D'Artagnan
D'Artagnan fights Milady.
27 Apr 1625
Milady came back and not knowing D'Artagnan was there told her maid she planned on getting revenge on Madame Bonacieux. D'Artagnan lunged out of his hiding place, drew his sword, and fought her.
Milady escapes jail.
29 Apr 1625
Milady gets put in jail for attempting murder, but sneaks out by getting the jailer's sympathy. The jailer then murdered the Duke of Buckingham for Milady.
Milady is executed.
30 Apr 1625
Milady got captured by Athos and she was executed on a mountain.

D'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis stayed best friends for life, this is where the quote "All for One, and One for All!" is coined.
D'Artagnan is given a commission.
