Bukbuyeo Kingdom formed in Manchuria, an area that Gojoseon lost control over after the war with China. In 86 BC, the disagreement in the throne resulted in the formation of Dongbuyeo Kingdom.

It was established by a prince of Bukbuyeo named Hae Buru. The last emperor of Gojoseon rose against Bukbuyeo and took the throne. In 22 BC, it was conquered by Goguryeo.

Silla Kingdom was founded by Park Heok Guh Sae in 57 BC. There is a myth that he was born in an egg. The kingdom was the first three kingdoms (Baekje, Goguryeo) to be developed into a powerful kingdom. It defeated both Baekjae and Goguryeo in 660 and 668 AD and unified the three kingdoms.

The kingdom was found by Jumong who was also believed to be born in an egg, same as the founder of the Silla Kingdom. Goguryeo Kingdom had the largest area of land between the three kingdoms and it occupied most of Manchuria.

Baekje was founded by Eunjo who was Jumong (founder of Goguryeo)'s son. It occupied most of the west coast of the Korean peninsula.

After Goguryeo had declined, the people who survived the war united and formed Goryeo. The founder was Wang Geon. They defeated Hubaekje Kingdom and ruled the entire land of Korea until 1392 AD.
1392 AD - 1910 AD

General Lee Sung Gye conquered Goryeo and established the Joseon Dynasty. Korea's capital was moved to Seoul during the Joseon rule. The Joseon Dynasty started to Decline during the early 17th century after frequent invasions and attacks by China and Japan.

Korea was occupied by Japan in 1910 and was the part of the Japanese Colony until 1945. During the occupation, Korean men were taken to wars and the people were forced to obey the Japanese emperor and learn Japanese history and language. After Japan lost in the World War II, Korea earned its independence. Korea was divided into two, north supported by Russia, and the south supported by America.

June 25th, 1950, 4 am in the morning, North Korea had attacked South Korea and that was the start of the 3 year long war. China and Russia helped North Korea while America and the UN were helping South Korea. The war went in armistice after the destruction of both countries.
