Sun Yat-sen joins all revolutionary groups, calling them the Tongmenhui. They desired to expel foreigners, create a Republic, and distribute land equally.

The Wuchang uprising caused the entire city of Wuchang to become captured by the revolutionaries.

The republic of China is established, and Sun Yat-sen is elected president.
