There began a series of small uprisings.
Reform fails, and the emperor is exiled. Empress Cixi takes the role.
Boxer Rebellion starts an invasion of Bejing
Sun Yat-sen joins all revolutionary groups, calling them the Tongmenhui. They desired to expel foreigners, create a Republic, and distribute land equally.
The republic of China is established, and Sun Yat-sen is elected president.
Many more small uprisings took place, most wanting revolts for freedom. Others rebelled against officials.
The Wuchang uprising caused the entire city of Wuchang to become captured by the revolutionaries.
A constitution by the Nanjing was decreed.
The constitution was transferred to Beijing.
The imperial family is forced to abdicate, and the revolution ends.
