New Jersey was the last state to revoke the right.

First Women's Rights Convention

1848

It was hosted in Seneca Fall, New York, where Elizabeth Cady Staton spoke of equal sufferage.

First National Women's Rights convention.

1850

It was held in October in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Women put aside sufferage activities to help with the war effort.

1861 - 1865

This was during the Civil War. Over Susan B Anthony's objections woman put all sufferage activities to the side.

Susan B Anthony forms the Equal Rights Assosiaction.

1867

This was the same time the fourteenth amendment was passed. Anthony started this to recieve universal sufferage.

Women petition!

1868

Fifteenth amendment is passed, giving black people the right to vote. Women petition to be included in this, but they are turned down.

New Jersey Women!

172 women from New Jersey attempt to vite, but their ballots are ignored.

Wyoming territory grants first woman suffrage

Utah territory grants woman suffrage

Decleration for the rights of women.

Susan B. Anthony reads this in front of the Liberty Bell.

The Woman suffrage amendment is introduced in US Congress for the first time.

Susan B Anthony dies.

Nineteenth Amendment

1920

The Susan B. Anthony Amendment is ratified by Tennessee on August 18. It becomes law on August 26.
