One, Sophia Ferra, speaks to Sipara gently enough to get her to point to Ordelfo's chest as the most important thing in the sanctum (it was bigger on the inside). Sophia claims the chest and Sipara, but she and her amicii soon fall into squabbling over the spoils, and she is killed. Sipara ends up in the keeping of Sophia's paren, and giving testimony to a Quaesitor in preparation of the next Tribunal.

Speaking as a witness at a Tribunal, despite being only 8, Sipara's clear testimony in the trial of Sophia Ferra's death is key in resolving the matter in the favor of Sophia's paren. This and her ability to remember Theodora result in Sipara being returned to the Guernicus - or so they told her, though it was clear that there were some significant favors or deals being made. Ultimately she found herself back in Theodora's care, to her great relief and gratitude.
