George Smith Patton Jr. was born.

November 11, 1885 - December 21, 1945

George Patton was born in San Gabriel, California. He went to West Point. He failed out of it and came back later.

General Patton goes to war.

March 17,1943

He takes II Corps into battle for the first time. In World War II, in Africa.

General Patton takes over the 7th Army.

April 10, 1943

He take over General Bradley's in Operation Husky, in Italy. He had 80,000 men in his Army.

He begins his decent to Adimal Hewitt's barge.

July 11 1943

This was off the coast of Sicily and this happened at 9AM that morning.

Meeting with Commander Alexander

July 17, 1943

Alexander is a British Commander. He is Patton's favorite general, he liked and admired him.

Patton arrived at London.

January 23, 1944

He met Eisenhower's deputy. The deputy wanted to talk about the war.

The attack on Metz, France was lauched.

October 3, 1944

It was a terrible weather conditions.


November 11, 1944

Since his 2 year anniversary since the landing in Africa.

Finally in Metz, France.

November 25,1944

General Irwin on the back rear line, after the men of his 5th division. Patton came and greeted him and his men.

The Battle of the Bulge

16 December 1944 - 25 January 1945

He lost lots of men in the battle. There were German, English and American generals.

On to Rhine River.

January 1945

They had captured lots of men, at the Battle of the Bulge

The battle of the Bulge ends.

January 29, 1945

Patton could now stock up. He stock up on food and weapons.

The 10th armoured Division got across the Rhine.

March 1, 1945

They got on to the capture of Trier. The 10th armored division was under Pattons command.
