Development of the Modern Theory of Evolution

Thomas Robert Malthus published "An Essay on the Principle of Population." Alfred Russel Wallace and Charles Darwin in progress of the theory of Natural Selection.

Jean Baptiste Lamarck, printed his theory of Evolution which was that evolution happened through the inheritance of developed features.

Charles Darwin writes an essay about the theory of Evolution but it was never published.

Alfred Russel Wallace publishes an article which have the same idea as Darwin about the natural selection. Then Darwin’s and Wallace’s theories are presented at the London Linnean society.

Darwin gets very sick as he gets old and his book “The Origin of Species” is published then it became very popular.

Mendel’s pea plants theory was printed and it supports the theory of natural selection.
