259 BC - 210 BC

Qin Shi Huangdi was born in Handan, China on the 18th of February.

Qin Shi Huangdi's reign

246 BC - 210 BC

When Qin Shi was thirteen years old, his father died. So Qin Shi was left to rule at a very young age. He was helped by a regent until he was twenty-two years old, then he took full rule of Qin State.

Chinese states are conquered by Qin Shi

221 BC

Once he had full rule of Qin State, he set out to conquer the other states of China. He first conquered Han state and later took over the Zhou and Wei states. After this, he took over the almighty Chan state, then defeated the Yan an Qi states.

Started to build the Great Wall Of China

220 BC

To keep China safe from invasion and war, Qin Shi started to build The Great Wall Of China.

Terracotta warriors started to be built

215 BC - 206 BC

The Terracotta army were built in a massive tomb under the ground in Shaanxi. They were built to protect Qin Shi in the afterlife.

Qin Shi Huangdi Died

210 BC

Qin Shi Huangdi died on a ship on a tour all the way around eastern China.
