That night in her dreams, she meets Thanatos and Persephone, who explain to her that becoming Master of the Hallows shows that she is the destined companion and secondary consort of Hades, Lord of the Underworld. They also tell her that she is the daughter of Zeus and great-granddaughter of Poseidon. They then discuss Camp Half-Blood, the Great Prophecy that she is now ineligible for, and the Pact of the Big Three.

In her second life, she was Maria di Angelo, beloved of Hades and mother of his two demigod children, Bianca and Nico di Angelo. At her request, Hades unlocks her memories of her previous lives. She immediately asks about Nico and Bianca. Hades tells her that they are in the Lotus Hotel and Casino. They go and invisibly observe the children. Chrysa is glad to be back with Hades.

Persephone knows that Leuke was Hades’ first love, who supported him and fought alongside him in the Titanomachy and Gigantomachy, and helped him originally establish his power base in the Underworld, but fell in love with her later. Likewise, Chrysa accepts that while Hades loved her first and loves her still, he fell in love with Persephone during her long absence, and he loves his Queen as well.
