Americans were tired of Great Britian controling land which was no where near them and raising taxes on small things, making them more expensive then what they were worth. America had a great revolution and kicked out Great Britian.
1789 - 1799

French (lower class) citizens were also sick of the French government's high taxes (which they could not afford), unequal government representation, unfair social divisions, and debt caused by the king (war debt). With the ideas of Enlightenment and the American Revolution, they decided to have a revolution. This ended with violence (guilliotine) and a change in government.
1791 - 1804

This revolution is Haiti was caused by slavery and since, at the time, it was owned by France, Napoleon was continuing the slavery, not even paying attention to what the people wanted. The Haitian revolution was inspired with the American and French Revolution. The leader was Toussaint L'ouerture in 1801. In 1802, Napoleon sent troops to deal with it, but instead, Toussaint was arrested, where he then died in prision in 1803.
1803 - 1815

Wars began to break out after Napoleon declared himself emporer in 1804. He began trying to conquer neighboring countries in Europe. His goal was to take over all of Europe. They started to end when Napoleon's reigh was also coming to an end (The blockade of Britian, The Penisular War, Invasion of Russia).

In 1803, there was a land deal between America and France (Thomas Jefferson v.s. Napoleon). The U.S acquired 827,000 acres of Land west of the Mississipi River for around $15 million.

The Congress of Vienna was a meeting of European leaders to reastablish order and land borders after Napoleon messed up Europe.

In 1821 Agustin de Turbride led Mexico to victory against Spain and declared himself emporer of Mexico

In 1823, Central America (Guatomala, Nicorgna, Honduras, E. Savador, and Costa Rica) declared their independence from Mexico

Simon Bavor led independence movements all across South America. Jose de San Martin had, also recently, freed Chile. After the two men combined forces to liberate Peru. Bolivar's dream of one nation neve happened as political issues kept the countries independent states.
