It was a long journey and finally on October 12, his whole crew stepped foot on what they thought was Asia. Little did they know that it was actually the Bahamas. He discovered a whole nother part of the world they didn't even knew excited.
John Cabot was a navigator and explorer who thought he could come up with a route that would be faster than Columbus's. He actually landed on the coast of North America. Some people believe he landed in Nova Scotia. John claimed the land for England.

Francisco was a Spanish explorer who lead an expidition from Mexico to present day Kansas. He went through parts of southwestern United States to get there. He also discovered the Grand Canyon.
Henry Hudson was an English explorer and navigator. He explored parts of the Arctic Ocean and northeastern North America. The Hudon River and the Hudson Bay are actually named after him because he explored them.
