The US government did not install a great government, but it was better than the one that was there previously. Installing governments through the CIA is not a good idea. The Shah came to the US and we made a power grad. In the 1950s the US was using whatever measures it needed to install friendly governments. This would come back and hurt them.

Nixon has gone to Moscow to talk to Khrushchev. Got into the Kitchen Debate. Nixon is trying to say that there are some things that the US was better at and some things that the Soviets were better at.

Castro in Cuba

Was an American installed government in Cuba (Battista) that was overthrown by Fidel Castro. Communist revolution in the western hemisphere about 90 miles from Florida.
