On December 24, the London Evening News publishes a story "Winnie-the-Pooh",

Winnie-the Pooh became best selling Milne book

Now We Are Six, a second collection of children's verse, is published in October

The House at Pooh Corner introduces the character of Tigger.

His favorite brother, Ken Milne, dies in May.the latter an adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's The Wind in the Willows

Christopher Milne marries his cousin, Lesley Selincourt in July

Publishes his last play, Before the Flood.

Publishes his final book, Year In, Year Out, a collection of essays

He had a stroke and became partially paralyzed.
