On April 29th, 2014, there was a double Canonization of Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII. This is important because it is the first time two people have been canonized at the same time, as well as both of them have had one thing waved to become a saint. Saint Pope John the XXIII on, had one verified miracle, and Saint Pope John Paul II was becoming a Saint a week after he died.
