1838: Caroline left India to Australia

1839: Her third child Henry was born

During the years 1841- 1844 she helped immigrant women. She opens the Female Immigrant Home in Sydney

1850: First immigrants set sail for Sydney from England founded by Caroline's family Colonisation Society loan scheme.

1854: Caroline sets up safe houses for travellers to the Victorian Goldfields

1862: Caroline Chisholm opens a school for girls in Newtown, Sydney
