This timeline is the official series of dates I use for my books and short stories about The Crash.
This layer shows the time covered by the action of each story

seasonal flu pandemics. Called "the Ps" in the world
P2 is an H2 virus. Because vaccines are unavailable, this kills a large percent of the population
P3 is a standard seasonal flu. Vaccines were available, but only to Counted
standard seasonal flu, vaccines available for Counted
seasonal flu, vaccines for the Counted
seasonal flu, vaccines available for Counted
seasonal flu, vaccines available for counted. Will elixir be available for Uncounted?
This section outlines the epidemics ("the Es") that affected smaller segments of a single population.
E1 is a bio-engineered version of e. Coli that was leaked into the water supply of major food-producing areas.
E2 is a MRSA problem due to hospitalizations, limited and local.
E3 is a bio-engineered version of salmonella that impacted chicken farmers and egg supplies. This rendered the egg albumin unsuitable to widespread generation of the seasonal flu vaccine in 2025.
E4 is bio-engineered version of the norovirus. It is lethal if the patient is not in a hospital and on an IV. Appears to be spread by household pets. Corps ordered to shoot dogs and cats on sight.
Localized Listeria outbreak
The vaccine for E4 becomes available on this date.
Tentative dates for the outbreak of this mutation of E4.
This layer shows other events that are crucial to this timeline. Red denotes major causes of death of population outside of the Ps and Es.
Until the Corps can get outposts up and going, trains running smoothly, and food supplies distributed, Starvation is a major cause of death.
Asthmatics with no inhalers, allergics with no epi, heart attacks with no surgery. No prescriptions, no power, no treatments. This is the wave of secondary deaths.
This is the personal dates and timelines for the protagonist of the stories Survived, Salvaged and Quarantined
