This was when the German Luftwaffe didn't have the ability to gain air superiority even though they targeted Britain’s air bases, military posts and, its civilian population. I think this shows how powerful the allies were also.

Over 3 million German troops invaded Russia, This is important because it shows how useless the treaty between Germany and Russia was.
Battle of Stalingrad
July 17, 1942 - February 2, 1943
It stopped the German advance into the Soviet Union and marked the turning of the tide of war in favor of the Allies. This was a battle that had many casualties which was almost 2 million. This shows how much you casualties there must be to turn the tide during a big war.
Battle of Bulge
December 16, 1944 - January 25, 1945
This was the german's last attempt by Hitler to divide the Allies in there drive towards Germany.
