Young children explore music and learning through playful experiences which include singing, movement, listening activities, musical stories, and fun with melody bells, rhythm instruments, and other hands on experiences which introduce these children to the wonderful world of sound.
for ages 4-6 years (thru Kindergarten),
Tuesday 3:30 - 5:00 pm or wednesday, 1:00-2:30 PM or Saturday, 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Children develop musical understanding through hands-on experiences—hearing, moving, reading, and playing. They develop the ability to concentrate discriminate, identify, and enjoy the relationship of sounds. They relate rhythm to large body movements, responding to patterns in songs and games. They learn to identify the symbols of music, approaching music reading as natural extension of the listening process. And they develop facility at the keyboard, coordinating and refining the areas of hearing, moving, and reading. All with smiles, songs, games, musical crafts, and positive experiences.
for Grades 1-3.

Listening, rhythmic development, reading, and understanding music are introduced and reinforced through singing, games, learning centers, accompaniment instruments, and hands on time at our piano lab. Students may major in general music, piano, or strings (violin or cello).
for Grades 4-7;
Monday 1-2 PM, wednesday 3:30-5:00 PM or saturday 1-2:30 PM
Singing together, instrumental ensemble experiences…music history through listening, discussion, plays….active learning through musical games, composer studies, learning centers….musical improvisation with melody bells and rhythm instruments and skill development in piano, vocal, or instrumental lessons. Students may major in general music or an instrument.
for Grades 1-6
Mon, Tues and Thursdays, 3:30-5:30 PM
Ywo Wednesday rehearsals on 7/17 (July 4th makeup) and 7/ 24 dress rehearsal; Mandatory performances on July 26 and 27.
A full experience—from learning to audition—singing, dancing, drama, and performing for the audience, this class is great! And parents can get involved with costumes and sets. Mandatory performances on July 26th and 27th.
