The Rise of Napoleon and the creation of his Empire
Napoleon got to power in 1795 when he was made general. In 1976 he led France into victory against Austria. With all his victories under his belt he soon was crowned emperor of France in 1804.
Napoleon’s empire collapses
His ambition to conquer more and more soon became his downfall and military mistakes soon weakened his empire. He finally surrendered the French throne in 1814
The congress of Vienna

The congress of Vienna was a group of European ambassadors that met in Vienna. In these meeting they discussed ways to bring peace back in Europe after the wars Napoleon put them through. The result of this was that conquered lands were returned.
