King Louis XVI called a meeting of the Estates General, and this was the first one called since 1614. The reason as to why he called this meeting is because the French government was having some bad financial problems.
Storming of Bastille
This occurred in Paris, France, on July 14, 1789. It was also known as the medieval armory, fortress, and a political prison. Which represented the royal authority in Paris.
Tennis Court Oath
The members of the French Third Estate took the Tennis Court Oath on June 20, 1789. They vowed to “not to separate and to reassemble wherever circumstances require until the constitution of the kingdom is established”. Also, it was a very important event during the French Revolution.
The rise of napoleon and creation of an empire

Napoleon was born on an island called Corsica, and he rose really quickly in the ranks of the military during the French Revolution. Also, he crowned himself emperor in 1804 after seizing political power in France.
The Reign of Terror
1793 - 1794
The reign of terror refers to a period of time during the French Revolution, and lasted about 11 months. A lot of French people who did not support/agree with the Revolution during this time were executed at the guillotine. Lastly, Robespierre was the last one to be guillotined.
Napoleon’s Empire Collapses
Napoleon surrendered and gave up the thrown ending his reign, in April 1814. Even though he already conquered most of Europe, Napoleon still had the desire to defeat Britain. He made a total of 3 mistakes that led him to his empire failing.

It was a meeting of many ambassadors of the European states that was held in Vienna from November 1814 to June 1815. This was an international conference called to create a balance among the many European powers to prevent any future wars and to maintain the peace on the European continent.
