The product designer will write down what they expect to see out of the crochet hook
A small focus group of crochet enthusiast will write down what they would like to see out of the crochet hook.
The major request of the focus group and designer will be complied into a master list for reference.
The designer would use this period to research hardware and material that might be used in the product, as well as the motion a crochet hook makes for various stitches.
This model would not have the hardware inclosed but would be mainly used to develop and refine the program and design of the product.
This model would look like a normal crochet hook and would be used to test quality and safety.
A group of crocheters will test the prototype to see if it is market-ready.
If any revision are needed after the focus group testing they will be done here.
The product will be released on a site such as Etsy for purchase. This would also include the designer promoting it on their personal social media and craft groups in social media.
The product will be shown at various craft fairs throughout the year to gain exposure.
