On May 26, 1896, Czar Nicholas II was crowned Czar of Russia. He was crowned the Czar after his father's passing. He was the last emperor of Russia. Czar Nicholas II brought Russia into WWI, while he was leading Russia into the war his wife, Czarina Alexandra put the government in complete chaos, with the help of Rasputin. Czar Nicholas II abdicates the throne (steps down from the throne). The Royal family was placed under house arrest after that and was later killed and burried.
