The third estate split off from the other two states making their ow assembly to discuss the economic and social issues in France. The assembly would govern France.
Attack on the Bastille

Parisians seize 28,000 muskets and 20 cannons from les Invalides and marched to the a prison, in search of ammunition. The attack from prison guards led to the mob attacking the freeing the prisoners. This is the start of the french revolution.
French Women force Louis XVI to leave Versailles
October 5, 1789
The king not supporting the August decrees and with short bread supply in Paris. Women and soldiers stormed the Hotel de Ville and later Versailles demanding change. Then Louis supply Paris with grain along with paris commune
Louis XVI is executed
August 13, 1792
The king and queen were sentence to high treason for betraying the people of France. They were put under permanent house arrest until the execution date.
National Convention is Formed
September 21, 1792
National Convention is formed to provide a whole new constitution for France after the over throw/execution of the monarchy.
Reign of Terror
July 28, 1794 - March 1795
The national convection were removing all opposition to it and resulted in the execution of several thousand leaving France in political turmoil and being unstable.
The Directory is formed
october 26, 1795 - November 1795
The fear of rise of the monarchy and popular sovereignty, the Directory was voted by the legislature to lead executive branch. This was the most stable government in french revolution.
Napoleon takes power
November 9, 1799 - November 10, 1799
Napoleon took control of the government in Coup Dietat or military takeover to make laws, appoint government minister and declare war.
Napoleon Invades Russia
June 24, 1812
Napoleon sent his soldiers to unknown land across the Niemen River. Most of his army was wiped out by starvation and freezing to death. This marked the beginning of the end of the Napoleon Bonaparte.
