Life: (October 10, 1731 - February 24, 1810)
What: He discovered hydrogen
How: He created hydrogen by dissolving metals into acid which ended up created "fixed air". Then he measured their solubility in water, their gravity, and their combustibility.
Prizes: because of the paper he wrote about producing water by burning, he was given the Copley Medal.
Where: Nice, France
Why: Cavendish had notice that gas was made but zink or iron being dropped into acid so he wanted to perfect it and create hydrogen.
So what?: Since, Hydrogen was found, this would be the beginning of the periodic table, and scientist would later find out that those elements were made up of atoms.
