Its political organization was divided into two groups of people or inhabitants, where there was a privileged group and another servile class, as follows:
• Privileged Group: formed by Hierarchs, Officials, Military, Priests and the Supreme Ruler.
• Servile class: made up of Weavers, Painters, Lapidaries, Masons, Potters, Spinners, Carpenters, among others.
The economy of this culture was well known for the irrigation system so complex and perfect for harvesting corn, beans, and amaranth. These together were their main products. This would take advantage of their trade, to obtain other raw materials and material goods from places far away, for them, they used cocoa seed as currency.
