The Treaty was drafted in the spring of 1919 during the Paris Peace Conference. The four National leaders that were at the Peace Conference each came from a different place. Great Britain's leader was David Llyod George, the leader from France was George Clemenceau, Woodrow Wilson was representing the United States, and Vittorio Orlando was representing Italy. The nations that got defeated weren't aloud to have say on the treaty. Germans were shocked on how severe the terms were, so they protested the contradicts.
