Abu was a Muslim Alchemist. He is known as the father of Arabic Chemistry. He ended up developing an important theory of matter, the theory is that a medicine’s perfection increases as the corpuscles from which it is made, decrease in size. This theory explained processes, including sublimation, distillation, calcination, cupellation, cementation, and the production of minerals within mines. He turned alchemy from a fantasy to a science. He also discovered the hydrochloric and nitric acids.
