For pretty much my entire life, we had a landline telephone. This is the first example of technology that I have ever used. We only got rid of it when we moved out of our house last November!
20 March 1998 - 2012
Another early example of technology in my life was our desktop computer. I didn't actually use it myself until I was about 7, but it was a part of my life from the very beginning! We traded it in for my laptop when I started high school.
Radio and CD's
2003 - 2009
When I was younger I couldn't stand to sleep in complete silence so I would always have my little radio playing my favorite CDs. This happened for quite a long time.
2005 - 2010
While I was in Elementary School, I used to use an MP3 player to listen to music on the bus to and from school. I can very clearly remember bonding with other children on the bus over the songs we had downloaded.
25 December 2007 - Approx. June 2010
For Christmas in 2007 I got my first ever game system and it happened to be a Nintendo DS. Unfortunately about 3 days after Christmas, it broke but I got a new one right after.
My First Cell Phone
2010 - 2012
I got my first ever cell phone in 2010 and I had it for about two years before getting a newer one. I vividly remember being super excited to finally have a phone even though it was a super simple flip phone.
2010 - June 2011
I got my first iPod a few years after it originally came out but I was still super excited to have it. It was definitely an upgrade from my tiny MP3 player!
June 2011 - 2012
The iPod Touch was my first ever touch screen device. When I first got it, I was excited because this was the first time I discovered what apps were. I remember playing games like fruit ninja and temple run. almost daily.
