History of Cascade Health Alliance as a business




Our company is incorporated as Klamath Comprehensive Care.

First Enrollees


As a Physician Care Organization with no hospital or pharmacy involvement, Klamath Comprehensive Care gets its first enrolled members. Approximately 1300 people are served by the organization, which is in the basement of Klamath Pediatric Clinic and has two staff members.

First Enrollment Increase


Klamath Comprehensive Care enrollment increases to approximately 2200

New Building


We moved downtown to Main Street to have our own location and better serve our population

Employee Growth


We hire our first CEO, Stewart Tittle, and a nurse to expand our Case Management and Quality Improvement programs.

Oregon Health Plan

Oregon Health Plan Phase 1

February 1, 1994

Governor Kitzhaber's Oregon Health Plan begins its Phase 1, adding Medicaid clients in the Poverty Level
Medical (PLM) and Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC, now
known as Temporary Assistance to Needy Families/TANF).

OHP Phase 2


Oregon Health Plan increases to cover Medicaid
seniors and people with disabilities, as well as children in foster/
substitute care.
