“I am home.”
The most important thing within a community is togetherness, as feeling like you belong builds a healthy environment. People you can trust being in your life is a way of finding out the true you, who you are as an individual. This links in with performing because within a chorus, everyone has to come together and produce collaborative action, which incorporates working as a team. All of the cast work with each other to produce a production the best it can be, no matter how major or minor the characters are.
With parents getting involved in the community, they set an example for their children, and because their children look up to them, they usually follow their footsteps. Parents teach their kids at a young age, which shapes them into community-respected individuals early enough for them to maintain that attitude.
Living a healthy life is partly influenced by good friends, who can accompany you through good times and provide support through bad times. There is no loneliness when friends are involved in your life and with this being the case, they offer needed companionship. Other benefits of friendship within the community include:
Give you purpose and make you feel like you belong.
Bring you happiness and reduce stress.
Build up your self-confidence and self-worth.
Support you through traumas.
Encourage you to avoid, or change, unhealthy habits.
“May function as a bridge between medical and emotional needs.”
Support groups provide the opportunity for others to share personal experiences, bringing them together and allowing them to find common ground. Similar experiences between groups make it easier to seek help, due to others going through the same issue. This removes the sense of having to deal with problems individually, which enables them to gain empowerment, control and hope, as they are more likely to solve the issue collectively as a team.

Personal Qualities (Research)
Kindness has affected the community from the day I was born with my parents bringing me into this world and supporting me when I was incapable at a very young age. With us being powerless at birth, we rely on others, mainly parents, to provide for our needs, and therefore, our kindness to others cannot be noticed, due to us not having the ability to learn the ways of life. Therefore, kindness becomes natural to us, getting passed down from our parents, as we get brought up to be good citizens within the community. Believing that being famous and rich, being successful, is the key to happiness is quite common within the community, but when they have that sort of life, their former life is then longed for. With that in mind, the community needs more kind and less egotistical people, in order to form a healthy community. Also, forgiving unreasonable, illogical and self-centred people will make you a better person and help bring people together within the community.
Investing in yourself is the only way of improving from the person you are today, being different tomorrow, and that is why the individual is the most important thing to invest in. There aren’t any improvements that will occur automatically, so work has to be put in to achieve our goals, working on improvements to better ourselves. If a young performer has future plans of performing on a grand stage, they will take the time to learn the theory and develop skills in the components within the performing arts industry, in order to improve their chances when auditioning for roles. Investing in yourself opens up opportunities and if you don’t, who else will? Emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially investing in yourself will result in you becoming the best version of yourself. This reflects the opinion of yourself, affecting the chances of success in the future.
This is more than just a game, as football brings people together, especially the World Cup, that has never been more true than this occasion. Football brings people, regardless of their age, race, gender, culture, or nationality, in one place together as one community. As a result of this, ethnocentrism is ruled out completely, making the community within football one of the healthiest, if not the healthiest, community of all time.
Ideas Towards Community Project
As a group of individuals with a range of different skills to one another within one community, a collaborative project is to be created and presented in front of other citizens with the community. I believe, as an act of kindness, a fundraising event could be an option to carry out within a community-based area, which incorporates one of my personal skills, as I consider myself to be a very kind individual. Going ahead with this ensures that the community benefits from the experience, due to the fact that members of the community will donate money to others who are in need of support. This will then show that happiness is found through entertainment and positive experiences, not with coins in our pockets.
Performing in front of people allows us to follow our goals, in which are common throughout our year, and shows how dedicated we are to the performing arts industry. With this being the case, we reveal to the community that we want to showcase our talent to many others and constantly want to improve on our abilities.
Our audience will be allowed to watch students performing, regardless of their age, race, gender, culture, or nationality, showing that we are a welcoming community and hold no judgements on groups of people, being non-ethnocentric.
