Hilter was appointed chancellor of Germany in 1933. The Nazi party won 37% of votes in the 1932 election. Hitler didn't actually win his spot by the votes though, it was Franz von Papen and other conservatives that helped persuade the German government to appoint Hitler as Chancellor.
