A million Jewish refugees and immigrants migrate to Israel along with 250,000 Holocaust survivors.
1956 - 1957
During this crisis, Israel collides with Britain and France in an attempt to capture Egypt. They manage to reopen the Suez Canal and trade from the middle east to Europe is restored.
Israel Nuclear Program
1957 - Present
Israel began to build a nuclear reactor with the help of France. The nuclear program constructs rapidly for the next ten years and leads to Israel having a decently sized military right now.
As relations improve the Middle Eastern balance in power start to make the U.S. to sell Israel missiles. France later halts arm supplies and the U.S. sales increase.
Six Day War
Tension arises and Egypt block off all forms of trade with Europe and Israel which results in them preemptively. War lasts six days, gives Israel control of east Jerusalem, all of West Bank, Gaza, Golan Heights and Sinai.
Camp David Accords
Encourages settlement in in Israel especially to Jewish community. Ends 30 years of war with a peace treaty between Egypt and Israel.
Invasion of Lebanon
Israel invades Lebanon for the end of the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) after an assassination attempt in Israel. Massacre in camps leads to government commission and protesting for anti-war efforts.
1987 - 1993
Many were against Israel's occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip. Several Palestinians witnessed the killings of four innocent citizens from a Israel truck which ignited the first steps toward the Intifada.
1993 - 1995
Declare self government for the Palestinians to formally end the First Intifada but the violence still continues. Israel eventually withdraws from most of Gaza and West Bank city. Jordan and Israel will go on to sign a peace treaty.

Israel finally pulls away from Lebanon who are now free without control of another country.
