French Revolution

1789 - 1793

With inspiration from the American Revolution, the French decided to take their stand and rebell against the King and Queen. In a result from this rebellion, the French got their victory.

Whiskey Rebellion

1791 - 1794

In 1791 there was a tax passed on Whiskey (created in America). Everyone was upset because they didn't feel that they shouldn't have to tax on what they created themselves.

Neutrality Proclamation

April 22, 1793 - December 1793

While France and Britain decided to go to war again, we decided not to take sides.

Jay’s Treaty

November 19, 1794

The United States and Britain had problems that were soon resolved by Jay's Treaty. All of the issues that have risen ever since the 1790s have been resolved by this treaty.

Treaty of Greenville

August 3, 1795

Pinckney’s Treaty

October 27, 1795

Pickney's Treaty was an event that settled all boder & trade disputes between America and Spain. Because of this treaty, Spain came to an agreement and recognized the United States boundary.
