Arab Uprising

A few months before, Izz al- Din al Qassam was killed by British soldiers and deemed a martyr. He called for a revolution, so in April a bloody class occurred between Arabs and Jews

White Paper

1939 - 1945

The White Papers called for the creation of a unified Palestinian state. Power was to be shared by Jews and Arabs. A famous quote related to this Ben Gurion: "We shall fight for Britain as if there is no white paper. We shall fight the White Paper as if there is no war."

King David Hotel Bombing

Carried out by Irgun, but planned by both Haganah and Irgun: About 350kg of Explosives were hidden in milk churns in the wing of the hotel below British offices.

92 people died; The Freedom Fighters said they warned the British of the attack, so they should have done something earlier.
