The war was between British settlers and Cherokee Indians. It happens when Virginia people attacked a Cherokee tribe

The British placed a tax on wine and sugar to try to pay off the expenses of the French and Indian war. Then leaders in the colonies started to boycott.

The stamp act was a tax on all papers products so the British could pay off the Seven Year War. The colonists didn’t think this was fair because they had no voice on how much they were taxed

The group behind the Boston tea party. A group made of angry colonists mad at Britain for their taxes.

The tea act directly lead to the Boston Tea party. The colonist boycotted the tea

A war where the 13 colonies fought against the British for their independence. The colonies finally won in 1783,then electing George Washington as there first president.

later replaced. states that the the 13 colonies were an independent country from britain.

made SC an idependent governement from the other colonies and elected its own president and vice president.

The Declaration of Independence was a document written by Thomas Jefferson to show the colonies concerns about how king George was treating the colonies.

Battle of Eutaw Springs

Eutaq Springs was a battle against britain fought by General Nathanael Greene of the Continental Army with 2000 men. there were 500 casulites in the continental army and 700 in the britsh making it the bloodiest battle of the war. this caused the britsh to retreat to charleston SC
