French Revolution

1789 - 1793

The Start was the French Revolution . The Revolution was when the French rebelled against the king and they were inspired by the America Revolution. The war ended when victory for the French people . The public beheading of King & Queen .

Whiskey Rebellion

1791 - 1794

Congress passed a tax on American - Made Whiskey in March 1791 to pay off all the Federal Debt . No one didn't support the tax cause they felt the Federal Government had no right to tax them. Soon after people were fighting over the tax in Western Pennsylvania . People we all all refusing to pay the Whiskey tax.

Neutrality Proclamation

1793 - 1794

April 22, 1793 - November 19 , 1794
George Washington 's Proclamation showed that the United States wouldn't takes sides during war between French and English . George Washing approved this without approval of Congress

Jay's Treaty

1794 - 1795

November 19 , 1794 - October 27, 1795
Jay's Treaty would help solve problems between the United States and Britain so it won't led to any wars . This treaty was very unpopular in the United States cause citizens felt like the British wasn't getting punished enough. the British people got payed to damage the American ships . The British also were banded from there forts on the Northwestern parts.

Treaty Of Greenville

1795 - 1796

August 3, 1795
Native Americans would wage wars against the United States in the Northwest Territory . British supplied Native Americans by giving them an adventure and Weapons . The U.S. came out with victorious after about five years. The Treaty of Greenville gave United States claim of the Native American land in the Northwest Territory .

Pinckney's Treaty

1795 - 1796

October 27,1795 - August 3 , 1795
In 1784 , The Spain control all the port of New Orleans and it closed by The United States for Trading. Now the United States are not able to transport supplies from Mississippi to places east or over the sea . Pinckeny's treaty resolved border disputes & Washington saw it as success.
